Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
📍 Lumajang, East Java, ID
About This Destination
Locals call it "Indonesia's Niagara," and once you see the tiered curtain of water crashing down in every direction, you'll understand why. It's not one waterfall — it's dozens, all pouring into the same river gorge at once, creating a scene so dramatic it barely looks real in photos.
What We Do There?
Climb down (carefully) through slippery, jungle-lined paths to reach the base of the falls, where you can wade into the pool and feel the spray hit you from every direction. Bring a change of clothes — you will get wet, and you will not regret it.
Unique / Point of Interest
Panorama Point for the classic wide-angle shot from above, and the raw, up-close chaos of standing at the bottom surrounded by falling water on all sides.
