This policy explains what information The Overlander Indonesia ("we") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, and a password (stored only in hashed form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID.
• Booking details: trip date, number of travelers, selected plan, your contact name, email and phone number, and any message or custom trip request you write.
• Reviews: the rating and comment you submit, shown with your name.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in and protects forms, plus basic server logs.

• To create and manage your account, record your booking requests, and send you emails such as account verification and booking confirmation.
• To follow up on your booking with you through WhatsApp.
• To show reviews, and to keep the website secure and working.
• We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

• Continuing a booking on WhatsApp opens a chat with our team and a prefilled message. From that point WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to the conversation.

• Google: sign-in with Google, Gmail for sending our emails, and Google Fonts for the website typeface.
• OpenStreetMap: map tiles on package pages are loaded from OpenStreetMap servers, which can see your IP address.
• Unsplash: some images are loaded from Unsplash.
• These services receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser loads their content.

• We use essential cookies only: a session cookie to keep you logged in and a token that protects forms from forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

• We keep your account and booking records for as long as your account exists, or as needed to handle your bookings.

• You can update your profile from Profile Settings. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account and related data at any time by contacting us.
